Personal History[]

Edward was born to Leonard and Natalie (Grothe) Collins on November 6, 1962 in Heber Springs, AR. He went to Heber Springs High School where he tried to get a wrestling team going. When that failed, he got the idea to try out for the Razorback Wrestling Alliance. Not having the great promise that he had thought he had, Sam McGuinness worked him immediately into a tag team with John Temple under masks called Ebony & Ivory. Under Temple's tutelage, Edward focused on honing his skills.

In December 1979, McGuinness thought about breaking up the tag team temporarily. When the MVW bought the RWA, Arnold Adams split the tag team and set them in a feud against each other. When Boss Crump decided to work also in Hawkeye Championship Wrestling, he brought the two of them together again in the form of The Razorbacks in the new Hawkeye Championship Wrestling.

Edward is Good Time Charlie's first cousin. He got involved in the drug scene in Memphis during his time in the MVW. At one point, he was known as the "go-to guy" for any drugs in the MVW. He spent much of 1989-1992 in drug rehab. In rehab, he met Wendy Tammen. They were married on January 18, 1995, in Hot Springs, AR. They tried for several years to have children, but they were unable. They tried adoption on four different occasions and each time the adoption didn't go through either because of paperwork disputes with the foreign government or the adoption agency went bankrupt.

As of April 2011, Edward and Wendy are still married and living in Hot Springs, AR. Both of them work for Walmart in Hot Springs.
