Personal History[]

Viola was born to Carl and Denise Kingery in Providence, RI, on August 11, 1958. The family moved from Providence to Minneapolis in 1966. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1977. She began classes at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, majoring in Photography. It was during this time that she met Verne Gagne. She signed a contract to work with the photography section of the AWA in 1978. She began wrestling in 1979.

She moved down to Puerto Rico and started wrestling in the World Wrestling Council in March 1981. She was the first wrestler to crossover in the MVW-WWC cooperative agreement. She was the original member of the Deadly Sins stable. She entered the MVW being managed by Solitaire.

She brought into the MVW many other wrestlers from the WWC for the Deadly Sins: Cletus P. Arends and Melanie Colic. Arnold Adams also brought several wrestlers from Southwestern Championship Wrestling and Wild West Wrestling for the Deadly Sins stable: Reckless Randy, Narcissist, Levi Ethan and B.L. Zebub. Most of her feuding with the Cardinal Virtues involved matches against Mother Modest.

In 1988, the feud against Mother Modest changed. Vixen left the Deadly Sins and joined forces with Ginger and Melanie Colic as Frankie's Demons. The trio feuded with Amy Andrews, Mary Ann and Strutter for three years. It wasn't until the midpoint of the feud, October 1989, that Frankie was forced to reveal herself as Vixen's old archrival Mother Modest.

After the Frankie's Demons storyline ran its course, Vixen continued to wrestle as a singles competitor until 1999. At that point, she brought Narcissist back into the MVW and established the Mixed Tag Team division. She and Narcissist dominated the scant competition as they strove to get an officially sanctioned title. That title never materialized. In 2003, Vixen finally retired from the ring. Two days after her final match, she was killed in a car accident outside West Memphis, AR.

Viola was a vibrant member of the front office in the production and photography sectors. She rose to the position of Executive Vice President in charge of publicity before her death.
